The HIVR4P conference offers several registration rates based on attendee classification and date of registration. As a conference registrant, you will receive:
- Admission to the conference, including all sessions and satellites.
- Meals, as outlined in the program.
- A program book.
- A USB drive containing the conference abstracts and Certificate of Attendance.
The conference registration fee does not cover airfare, hotel, or any other incidental costs. Fees are listed per person in U.S. dollars. Click here for current exchange rates.

The General conference attendee rate is available for those participants actively interested in HIV prevention-related research, either at the academic, governmental, private sector, or community level.
The LMIC registration rate is available to attendees residing and working in countries classified by the World Bank as low-income (Tier 1) and lower-middle income (Tier 2) economies. These classifications are updated on 1 July each year. Please refer to the World Bank’s website for information on their classification system and for the latest list of Tier 1 and 2 countries.
The Student/Post Doc registration rate is available for any person at least 18 years old and currently enrolled full time at an accredited university/college or engaged in a postdoctoral fellowship. You must provide current proof of enrollment/engagement such as an official student/institution identification. IDs must be available at all times during the conference.
Method of Payment
Full payment in U.S. dollars is required at the time of registration. Visa, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards are accepted. Conference Solutions Inc. will be listed as the merchant on your credit card statement.

Registration Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend HIVR4P, you may cancel your registration. Cancellations received by 23 September will be fully refunded minus a $100 administrative fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after 23 September.
If for any reason the conference should be cancelled, HIVR4P will refund the registration fee. The conference is not responsible for the refund of airfare, hotel, or other costs.

If you are unable to attend HIVR4P, you may transfer your registration to another person. The following rule of access to the conference applies to all conference attendees, including substitute attendees:
Participation in the conference is limited to those actively interested in HIV prevention-related research, either at the academic, governmental, private sector, or community level. The organizing committee of HIVR4P reserves the right to refuse registration to anyone who does not meet this requirement.

Letter of Invitation for International Attendees
For information on obtaining a visa to enter the United States, please visit the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs website at http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/visit/visitor.html. In addition, once registered, you will also receive a link to create a Letter of Invitation for use on your application. At minimum, you will need to submit your name, date of birth, passport number, and nationality to generate the letter.
Upon arrival at the conference, please visit the on-site registration desk where you will be provided a Conference identification badge. This badge will be required for admission to the conference functions and must be worn at all times during the conference.
As a registered participant of HIVR4P, you agree that the conference or authorized third parties may photograph or record your likeness, image, name, voice, and/or words, and may publish or distribute your likeness, image, name, voice, and/or words for promotional and educational purposes in various forms of media, including, but not limited to websites, presentations, and marketing materials. Photographs of data, whether displayed on screens, in posters, or elsewhere is not permitted.
The conference organizers cannot accept liability for injuries or losses arising from accidents or other situations during or as a consequence of attending the conference. In addition, the conference secretariat is not liable for presentation cancellations or session delays beyond reasonable control.
